Corning Cable Systems' Anaerobic Connector installation tool kits are designed with the installer in mind. Conveniently packaged in an easy-to-carry ballistic nylon bag, the tool kits are compact and easy to carry around the job site.
The standard consumable kit, TKT-ANAEROBIC2 (AC 286318), allows to installation and polishin of multimode and singlemode all-ceramic anaerobic connectors as well as the anaerobic GIC connectors. All connectors can be polished with this kit; LC, SC, FC and ST-compatible.
The anaerobic epoxy uses a two-part component process:
- the adhesive is first injected in the ferrule
- The fiber is then dipped into the primer and inserted into the connector. Curing of the epoxy takes one minute without the use of lamps or oven.
