To ensure a consistent level of stability in the supply chain, we operate a Global Procurement team comprising three specialist departments:

Strategic Procurement Responsible for defining the preferred supplier base, developing product and supplier strategies and negotiating the terms of the commercial relationship with the supplier, i.e. price, quality and service levels. Commercial Bids Responsible for the preparation of bid packages for prospective new business, the Commercial Bids team works closely with Strategic Procurement and the Sales team. Operational Procurement Responsible for expediting purchase orders on a day-to-day basis. Working both with suppliers and Strategic Procurement, the Operational Procurement team ensures a high fill rate and good inventory turns.
