Managing the implementation
Anixter Industrial places great importance on delivering what is promised – on time and within the parameters of an agreed schedule of activity.
Our ability to successfully implement customer specific supply solutions is a result of utilising structured project management methodologies, in which the customer signs off each key stage.
Some of the main implementation activities include: | |
Defining the customer Bill of Materials
Working with the customer to define the required Bill of Materials.
Identifying key stakeholders
Identification of key stakeholders within both businesses, which are the people that affect (or are affected by) the implementation of the new supply solution, and who act as main points of contact or feedback.
Performing a full on-site audit
Performing a full on-site audit, which may be carried out across multiple sites depending on the customer’s structure.
Creating a detailed project implementation plan
Production of a detailed project plan that outlines the tasks to be undertaken, the requirements, key people involved and the timing.
Providing detailed Service Level Agreements
Provision of SLAs that ensure that the customer is fully aware of the supply solution that is being deployed, and set the benchmark for future performance reviews.
Project ‘go live’
Transition from the incumbent supply route to the new supply system, consisting of all products on the agreed Bill of Materials.
The transfer from project management to day-to-day management comes as a result of the initial monitoring and feedback. Once you are satisfied that the supply solution has been implemented satisfactorily, as identified in KPIs, the project is handed over to the operations team for ongoing management.
Once the project is live, Anixter Industrial maintains exemplary customer service through continued support, monitoring and reporting.
Our trading history, and proven track record of successful supply programmes across a wide spectrum of industry, means that we deliver the right solution first time, every time. |
